There is more to "The Enlightment " than at just first glance , which for me almost sums up the worlds current dilemna completely , and offers direct hints at the solutions which began with those thinkers and still powerfully permeates the choicest quality of thinking & thinkers in the world today .

The best of all possible worlds they , the "Christian Europeans" were discovering thru these brave thinkers were no longer necessarily that belief structured template they themselves were ensnarled by , a pitched battle between the entrenched aristocracy/monarchy and the church-state entity . Nothing so powerful than to find the ability to widen one's perspective and be truely modest enough to accept the cultural relativism , once other societies were discovered to have values and experience that the chance to study finally helped to begin to really explore the true nature of ourselves and who really we are potentially ...in the widest of sense of discovery of truth . This is where the fundamenatlists of Islam turn their religion from "service to allah" to "enslavement to dogma" , just as the Europeans had done centuries before . And the fundamentalists will not win ever in the end period !And for very good reasons even their wisest Mullahs are just too blind & dumb to see as their Christian counterparts did before in fighting imaginary straw demons & satans , while they eventually will lose out to truth of humanism even where they live now , and rationality.
