Yeah, common only to an Elroy who doesn't have clue.

Don't you recall when Cisco's CEO took $1 per year in salary for two years? I think it was in in '01 and '02, or something like that. At that time options were over 90% of his compensation.

Yeah, great example........I think you are stuck in a time warp. You're one of those people who think there are no other companies besides tech. Get a clue.........tech CEOs are a small portion of all CEOs.....and with most of the rest, options don't play a big role like they do in tech.

Also, you often read about CEO's that made $1 million in salary, and $50 million in stock related compensation in a given year.

Other CEOs don't get any stock based compensation.
