tejek, I hate to say this, but for the very same reason this country didn't elect Lieberman, they will not elect Feingold. This country is so locked into political correctness, even when it flouts all of our country's values, that Americans will not elect a Jew because of the problems that would create with Muslims. We certainly don't won't to offend the poor Muslims who are just poor victims of the big bad world. So forget Feingold. He's a non-starter.

I personally felt Lieberman was the best candidate, but he didn't get the nomination because he is a Jew. Sad, but true.
