Bush-Enron's crimes against my state were why I got involved politically to begin with. I met a Calif State Senator at the time and asked him about why every single corporate energy pal of Bush-Cheney's was involved in the tripling and quadrupling of energy prices, and who was paying for the TV ads blaming it on Grey Davis.

The State Senator told me Enron and the Bush GOP were the same thing, and Enron's Ed Gillespie was heading the effort for both the GOP and Enron. Cheney was also no doubt behind it, as was James Baker. I asked him why he didn't get the word out. He told me they were trying to investigate, but solid evidence was hard to find. Lots of shredding of ducoments took palce too. Along with two suicides of guilty executives. Years later we did get that evidence but by then the crime was completed and Enron had gone belly-up, about 80 billion dollars disappearing in the process.

That's when I realzied that if Bush won they'd do the same thing to the entire country and the world. And lo and behold, they pretty much have. Check your energy bills, man. And next time they champion "deregulation" fight back hard. That's another word for no rules so they can steal all they want.
