I'm afraid it may be impossible to disagree with you without you thinking it's somehow a personal attack on the part of the writer on the right against the writer on the left. The catfight between H. and C. was not terribly interesting to me from a substantive standpoint. If C. thinks Ahmadinejad's and the Mullahcracy's intentions towards Israel are benign or otherwise neutral, or at best not established through the language which was under scrutiny, who am I to suggest otherwise? I am certainly no expert in Persian languages. Tempest in a teapot. Worry about out political culture, but not on account of this.
