That is my thought exactly, Peter!

Perhaps we should start a movement on the Net to do just that. Almost two years ago I strongly suggested (and keep suggesting) that very thing to a goof friend of mine who was Chairwoman of the Republican Party in N. Michigan. Ostensibly, a great number of grassroot Republicans are very angry with the Bush Administration and with some of the Republican Senators (because they are acting and sounding more like Democrats). My solution is to jump ship and take over the Libertarian Party.
