James Lovelock-Gaia's Revenge
Summary
A discussion with the independent scientist James Lovelock - originator of the Gaia Theory - who has written a new book on the urgency of the global warming threat. He says the Earth’s physical condition is seriously ill, 'and soon to pass into a morbid fever that may last as long as one-hundred-thousand years.'

'Before this century is over billions of us will die and the few breeding pairs of people that survive will be in the Arctic where the climate remains tolerable.'

Lovelock has fallen out with many of his erstwhile green travellers, because of his advocacy of nuclear power, and more recently, his criticisms of renewable energy wind farms.

I suppose the good news is, that even if everything goes on as it is today, billions of us will still die B4 the end of the century. After all, I can't see mice elf making it to 156 years old.
