MrB, Edwin doesn't know that you probably live in a luxury condo
and landscaping maintenance is done by the hired help.<G>

Edwin, I have a home in Sunnyvale (about 40 miles south of SF)
and weather is predictable in summer. It never rains - so we must water, always. Most lots are small compared to Texas lots, so it
is a little less expensive to water. But temperatures rarely go
much above 90. Most people do not have air conditioning, because
there are just a handful of days in summer when you wish you had it. Everyone has air in their cars, though.

MrB, we'll have a sailing SI outing on Oct 5th. If you want to go,
contact Pam - there may still be an opening.
