<The movement from geocentric to heliocentric was not a "leap"--it was a slow and methodical struggle of science.>

We simply disagree... do a search for paradigm shifts in science and you'll get my meaning.

<Newtonian physics has not changed. It is doing quite well. Quantum physics is simply another lens for examination of our physical world. It examines the interrelationship of matter and energy from a different perspective.>

You are not at all up on physics. Newtonian physics cannot explain quantum phenomina. Period.

<It is fairly obvious from myriad posts that you are unwilling or unable to draw any clear distinctions between science and pseudoscience.>

That's because we're discussing spirituality.... science is barely on the fringes of even psychology. What would be the point?

<Do you agree that "mysticism" has nothing to do with science??>

Science is just barely beginning to 'tickle' something like consciousness or even psychology as I said above... so no science hasn't addressed mysticism. As for "does mysticism have anything to do with science"? Well, if it has any truth to it, it eventually will.... eventually.

<And, in particular--nothing to do with the science of wave mechanics? >

That's a mouthfull, and I'm not sure what you mean by 'wave mechanics'... since everything exibits wave & particle properties:

physics.bu.edu

Then any reality a mystic could describe might be of interest... especially given the Heisenberg principle and the apparent need for observation to collapse the Schrodinger wave function.

<Do you agree that there is no scientific basis for trying to integrate these two separate and disparate activities?>

I leave that up to scientists... as stated above, consciouness seems to be coming into the picture now... so why would anyone ignore that study???
