Olbermann sez today is the anniversary of the greatest sports comeback of all time. ?1933. Jockey Ralph Nevis,at Bay Meadows, one of the few tracks I have visited, was trampled in a 4 horse accident, and, despite adrenaline injected in his heart, was pronounced dead, toe tagged, and sent to the morgue. Half an hour later, he comes running back onto the track, half nekkid, and with toe tag, yelling he was late for the 8th race. Won 5 races the next day.
