" be that Peak People precedes Peak Oil"... Thats the most hopeful piece of knowledge that I have seen on this thread in a few years? I have seen estimates that peak people is around 2050 followed by a dramatic 'population implosion"! So we need to work with closing the gap by: . conservation . home-work and home-learning (even part time helps) to save on transportation and extra built space. . live simpler and lowers expectations re buying stuff. . reduce destruction to save reconstruction. . reduce pomp and ceremony. . reduce travel budgets. . holiday closer to home. .........................add to the list its endless.. Just think how much the war in Iraq wastes, extended over one generation of time ! ...and multiply it many fold if this Civilian Leadership in the US continues it try and work its way out of the corner it has stumbled into all by itself by continuing to create its own self declared Third World War!!!
