I have no problem with people posting under an alias or being bearish on a stock. I am a avid trader and go bearish and bullish as my T/A advises.

However, the question here is not being a bull or a bear. The question here is :

Does an individual have the right to knowingly, purposely, and
intentionally posting untrue and false information on publicly traded companies?

Partick Tang was told by numerous people that his posts were inaccurate and the information he was posting was misleading and untrue.

Further Due Diligence and contact with the companies and parties in question, further confirmed that his posts were false and inaccurate.

Mr. Tang was informed of this and given contact numbers to call and confirm what he was posting was untrue and inaccurate. HE DID NOT.

Mr. Tang was told that if he continued to make such posts without even taking the proper steps to confirm them, it could be acknowledged that he was knowingly, purposely and intentionally making false statements.

I have no problem with anyone posting their opinion, but when someone makes a post saying "SELL THIS SCAM" and then lists information that is inaccurate and false as support, he is perpetrating a crime in my opinion.

Everyone has their first amendment right to say what they choose, but you are not allowed to, falsely, yell FIRE in a crowded theater. At that point you have perpetrated a crime.
