That would make it hotter than it's been in a few zillion years, don't remember the number of years. So the eleven degrees projection would be literal scorched earth. I think that e illustrated the key point on this, which is that folks think, correctly or not, that if we're not shocked and scared we won't devote any effort to even research let alone mitigation. But that brings problems of an overselling backlash. So is it a good strategy or not?
