Well I had a friend on the sub that was a Mormon and since one of their goals in life is to convert us folks I've heard much about the church through those years. Joseph found the plates in New York I believe and from them he wrote the Book of Mormon. They were chased from there eventually and made their way to Ohio. After being chased from Ohio they went to Missouri where of course they were again chased away and I think the governor even ordered them from Missouri. I think IL was the next stop on the migration west where I think Joseph was killed and from there Brigham took them to Salt Lake City. I think it was actually Joseph's son who founded the reformed church feeling he should have been the prophet instead of Young. That group of course has turned into the church of inbreeding and incest and pedophile that we now see them cracking down on. It's actually a pretty interesting story. What really interested me about it was the amazing lack of religious tolerance in a country that was shortly before founded on just that principal.
