As part of a key initiative designed to control costs and enhance the reliability of the network infrastructure across its three global data centers, BMW Group uses F5's BIG-IP v9 Application Delivery Networking solution. F5's BIG-IP provides high-availability load balancing, fast and extremely intelligent layer 7 switching, granular interactive control, DoS protection, resource pooling and a number of other features to help protect an enterprise's Internet presence.
BMW Group is currently migrating all of its Web-based applications to BIG-IP v9, keeping them available 24/7, secure, and fast.
