I think you missed the gist of my question;

How about the "belief" that only empirically verified facts can be considered valid truths? Can you empirically verify that for us?

I guess the answer is no, or you would not have tried to avoid answering the question, while at the same time, asserting some "need" to verify all things empirically.

It is clearly your implied belief that all truth must be empirically verified or it is not valid. If you can't verify that belief empirically, then your position is self contradictory and amounts to nothing more than a faith conjecture. Not holding such a restricted view of truth myself, (some, but not all truth, can be verified empirically) I think you are in worse shape than the ones you are attempting to criticize.
