I'm not too fond of the attitude of resignation when it comes to nuclear proliferation. Openly ruling out force is not the smartest move, IMO.

As a strategy or a plan of action? If its the latter, who is going to go into a country of 70 million people vs 23 million in Iraq and subdue them? Unlike Iraq, the entire population would fight us. And if you were thinking airstrikes, they are not very effective in the long run because of the need to avoid civilian populations and the negative world reaction that such strikes would invoke.

As for the former.......holding open the threat as a part of a strategy, the whole world knows we are in a bind in Iraq thanks to Bush and wouldn't buy the bluff for more than two seconds.

At some point, you will begin to realize how much Bush has damaged our hand and reduced us to the status of paper tiger. And I can't now tell you how angry that makes me.
