Ted, As for the former.......holding open the threat as a part of a strategy, the whole world knows we are in a bind in Iraq thanks to Bush and wouldn't buy the bluff for more than two seconds.

Part of a reason why we're in a bind is because of the whole brouhaha over the existence of WMD in Iraq. "Let's make sure," our allies said. We didn't wait until we were sure, so we blew that opportunity at a real coalition.

This time, it's different. We're pretty sure that Iraq and North Korea have or are actively pursuing nukes. Shouldn't that motivate our allies to take strong action? Of course not, because the truth is that they don't give a damn about WMD. Kind of similar to Bush, but for the opposite reason. They don't care if Iran has nukes, and they never did.

Are you fine with Iran having nukes? If so, that's the end of it, but if not, don't you think the world ought to take some sort of action through the U.N. Security Council?
