Clinton's and the bankrupt Congress's "fix" of Social Security was to shift almost $5 TRILLION off budget. The so-called "balanced budget" you tout (and it was not just Clinton, but all Democrats and ALL Republicans, except maybe Rep. Ron Paul), hid trillions of debt off budget.

The actual debt now off budget is above that. It is also projected that the non-serviceable debt from Medicare alone will reach FIFTY TRILLION by 2050.

What are you going to do about that? Urge Democrats to raise taxes? To what? The average middle-class American now pays more than 65% of their income back in taxes annually when you account for all taxes including income taxes, state taxes, county and city taxes, sales taxes, property taxes, excise taxes, fees, assessments and corporate taxes.

WHAT? Did I say "corporate taxes?" Yes, indeed! Corporations pass most or all of the cost of their taxes onto the consumers of their goods and services. You knew that, right?
