The biggest problem for California has been the Texas energy thieves, led by Enron and championed by their close pals Bush and Cheney. That alone cost us north of 20 billion. Illegal immigrants both give and take away. And remember, not all Mexican-Americans are illegal. I have been for tougher borders for 20 years but no one has done anything about it. Not Reagan, not Bush, Bush's father, Clinton or anyone. It's a non-partisan issue. The corporate bosses, small bosses and property owners may be the real culprits, making big profits off the cheap labor. Can you imagine if they started arresting people for hiring illegals? Never happen.
