Excellent points, Jim. With science, one man and one observation can establish a "Truth", if the observation can be independently recreated. With religion or BELIEF, the "Truth" is only as valid as the number of believers. If tomorrow, billions of people suddenly "believed" that oak trees were the true and ultimate manifestation of GOD, then THAT would be the new TRUTH.
