Like it or not, we don't live in a country where health care professionals can reject ill people from ICUs because they are not likely to survive.

In fact, much of their support comes from taxpayers who've made the choice to pay health care providers to try to save people and if not, make their death bearable.

If they don't want to do that, there may be other occupations or other employers.
