Well, the world, including America, including California, is full of Catholics and Orthodox Jews and Protestants (and perhaps others) who, for religious reasons, don't believe in euthanasia or abortion.
I can understand not agreeing with them, but I find it difficult to comprehend not understanding why they do what they do.
Not that I am singling you out. I've met a lot of people who think it's horrible to let nature, or God, or fate, take its course, and think one must snuff out life rather than watch it endure suffering.
Similarly, I've met a lot of people who feel exactly the opposite, one must allow nature, or God, or fate to take its course.
It always strikes me as odd that they can't comprehend each other. |
