These are medical judgments. These just happens to be medical judgments Catholic providers won't consider even when medical professionals find it advisable, because of the Catholic provider's religious concerns, which are a non-medical factor- and this is fine, but this is also a good reason not to pretend that poor women have true access to normal health care when what they really have access to are programs that do not truly put health concerns first, but which are first accountable to religious dogma.
