You are living in a fantasy, as are the people who think they are living in a Moslem state. There are no nations that are led by people of strong faith or countries who are managed according to scripture, nor are the inhabitants of any country a collective of the righteous believers in God's word. A quick reminder of the brief period of lawless looting etc following the collapse of Saddam's regime provides an example of quick degeneration of civility the Moslem people of Iraq fell into when the rule of law and order is lifted. The cultures of the world have been rapidly clashing and blending for a couple of centuries now. At this point 'over there' has almost lost all meaning. We are a globally integrated and enmeshed culture, in which economic interests play a more more prominant role in conflict than does ideology. Bids for world conquest are a rampant rule of the day. There is no place left to go to get out of this mess. You could of course step off if you like.
