Except for a few true believers on either side, for the most part, most ex presidents are either not too popular or held in low regard. As a kid growing up in my generation being president would have been the first choice of occupations for many kids back then. I suspect that is not the case today. Have you ever watched how Presidents age during their term? Sure we all age over time, but sometimes its so shocking when you look at the presidents face from the beginning to the end of a term. Back to carter for a second. Mets were playing the Braves in atlanta back in april and the Mets announcer who roams the stands came upon the Carters who are big brave fans. Actually they looked great and if nothing else, Jimmy still has that folksy way of his that is very endearing. Well hot dogs were deivered to the carters. Jimmy was talking while Rosealyn was eyeing the dogs. Finally she couldnt wait anymore and started eating this one foot dog. IT was gross and the cameraman sensing this zoomed in on Jimmy and cut her out of the shot. It was funny as hell. Cameraman must have been a dem.
