Don- << wouldn't a secondary offering HURT current shareholders?>> Initially, yes, some eps dilution might slow things down a bit for short-termers. Strategically, though, I think Vivus needs to build liquidity. If they can do so now, and while doing so finance new construction and build their war chest for a big PR blitz, I think its a good trade.
