We've still got heavy traffic this area most days and during rush hour, the Interstate is full of SUVs hauling one person. Little or no carpooling. Folks are just going to squeal and whine like little oil piggies until it hurts too bad. The feds just trashed a proposed commuter rail system here. It was unpopular so there wasn't much complaining except from the folks who realize our area is one of the fastest growing on the East coast. They'll be paying for that both in gas prices and bumper to bumper very long and slow commutes. (Raleigh-Durham)
