ENERGETIC GORDON PUTS NEW DRINK ON MARKET

By LENN ROBBINS

May 11, 2006 -- Ben Gordon wasn't satisfied with mass-market energy drinks available to every corporate executive on the go or high school student. The former University of Connecticut star who has established himself as one of the NBA's most explosive young talents with the Bulls was looking for an energy boost with health benefits.
Gordon consulted his advisors at H3Enterprises and came up with BG7, an energy drink with pure organic Chinese white tea, which has five times the antioxidants and health benefits of green tea. Gordon, a Mount Vernon native, is the first NBA player to have his own energy drink.

"I would drink some other energy drink and after games I would just crash," Gordon told The Post. "I talked to other players and they experienced the same thing, feeling all shaky and exhausted. This gives you the boost you need, but keeps you at an even level."
