AMAT Applied Materials: Expect the company to at least meet, but likely to exceed our estimates - Stifel (18.11 )

Stifel expects AMAT to at least meet, but likely to exceed their estimates of $2.1 bln in revenue and $0.24 in EPS, excluding stock options ($0.22, including stock options). They believe that bookings will at least come in at the high end of the co's guidance of +15-20% sequentially, with the strong likelihood of some upside. They believe the co will continue to post strong order growth rates, as it benefits from continued strength in memory spending, as well as a pickup from the foundries (namely TSMC). Firm continues to believe AMAT is not receiving full value as a "total company" and is only being measured as a semiconductor capital equipment company.
