Didn't mean to get you upset, Laz. The point I was making is that once a "prime suspect" is found, other potential suspects are typically ignored. If the database points to someone based purely on coincidence, LE efforts then go into strengthening the case, not looking for other suspects. Innocent people go to jail for such things with alarming frequency. Such a database just makes that possibility stronger.

Not real sure I understand that. That's what checks and balances are for. Perhaps you'd prefer I used Stalin as the example instead of Hitler?
