Hey, I seem to have found a position that offends everyone. Wanna join? :-)

The point I was making is that once a "prime suspect" is found, other potential suspects are typically ignored. If the database points to someone based purely on coincidence, LE efforts then go into strengthening the case, not looking for other suspects. Innocent people go to jail for such things with alarming frequency. Such a database just makes that possibility stronger.

Yes. And often the cops use cookie-cutter recipes to get their suspects. For example, if your wife is murdered, you'd better talk to an attorney REAL QUICK because you will be the prime suspect. And I have seen many cases where the jury came back with GUILTY where I believed reasonable doubt existed.

"There is apoddibility with any President we ever elect that he may attempt a coup and make himdelf dictator- -just like Hitler did."

Not real sure I understand that. That's what checks and balances are for. Perhaps you'd prefer I used Stalin as the example instead of Hitler?

Hitler was elected Chancellor of Germany by the Bundestag. Soon after the Reichstag (German parliament building) burned down in suspicious circumatances. (It is believed now that the Nazis themselves set the fire.) Hitler declared a state of emergency and then declared himself Fuehrer and dictator-for-life. And got away with it. No more German elections were held until after the Allies defeated Germany in WW2.
