There's a small hard core who believe that Western Civilization will come crashing down if White America is diluted by barbarian hordes but it's not a very pretty position and there's not going to be much mainstream political support for it.

Complex problem. There are some that are just racists about it. But they are part of a larger group who realize that the secret of Western Civ is bound up in the anglosphere of it. They don't care what race, color or creed you are, as long as you are an anglophile.

Most could not analyze it down that far, but "folk wisdom" tells them they want people coming in who like our civilization and don't want to change it to the type they had in their old country.

We need a "mix." A major part of the problem is we are getting nothing but Mexicans. They can assimilate well in smaller quantities, but not in the numbers we are getting. LA is turning into "Mexico City."
