The application I intended was individual not corporate. I thought that was obvious but perhaps not. I agree a corporation is without conscience, so is a government of law for that matter. Representatives, whether corporate, governmental, heads of families, or other social groupings have a conscience. To the extent they sacrifice that for loyalty to anything less deserving than the natural human nobility of common goodness, is the extent to which they have failed their very soul.
