Barton: I am not very good at number-crunching so I will give you what I have.

According to IMP Inc., the following companies are supposed to be somewhat equal to IMPX: Benchmarq (BMRQ), Elantec (ELNT), Exar (EXAR), Micrel (MCRL), Telcom (TLCM), Supertex (SUPX), Semtech (SMTC), and Sipex (SIPX).

These are the numbers

Company Book V. EPS P/E Recent Price

BMRQ 4.36 1.08 31.25 33 3/4
ELNT 2.70 .O9 78.47 7 1/16
EXAR 12.24 -1.08 24 5/8
MCRL 2.99 .60 67.50 40 1/2
TLCM 1.95 -.43 13 1/8
SUPX 4.08 .66 25.09 16 9/16
SMTC 6.44 1.56 40.30 62 7/8
SIPX 3.32 .42 80.80 33 15/16
IMPX .47 .57 1 15/16

All of these companies are trading near their 52 week highs except SUPX (high is 25 3/4)

According to IMP Inc. the weighted average P/E for the industry is 30 and the Market Cap to sales is 4.

I don't know if this helps, but it is the best I can do. Maybe someone else can plug these numbers into the right places to give a proper perspective on IMPX as compared to the industry. From what I can see, IMPX does not compare in any way seeing that the book value is not even half of the nearest competitor (TLCM).
