Gore ain't running. Kerry is and will be much stronger than in 2004, because he's learned some lessons, he's been proven right and because the smearvets BS will be useless against him next time.

And Kerry is at least as good a candidate as Gore. Gore failed in 2000 not just because he was cheated, but because he lacked balls. He lost at least one of the debates. He was often sweaty and insincere. His choice of Lieberman played right into Bush's hands. He didn't know how to handle Nader. He failed to use Clinton. He let Bush off the hook many times.

Kerry made a few mistakes, but not nearly as many as Gore. Gore should have won by 20%. But Kerry was up against some stiff odds, like the fact no one has ever beaten a war-time president, and that Bush could stage a phony terrorist alert every time Kerry pulled ahead. Both of them were cheated though.

That said, Warner is picking up a lot of interest. Hillary looks okay too but I think she's asking for trouble.

Bottomline, let's just concentrate on November. We have to take back congress or nothing will change.
