Simply not true Charters-lol. They have huge reefs of platinum in South Africa. When I first read about them I was truly amazed. It may cost $1,000 an oz to mine it but its there.

But if you decide you want to believe what that other guy said rather than me-lol, then you should really buy PFN for sure, because before they are done in River Valley many millions of oz of PGM's will be mined. For sure. It is all over the place, just low grade. About 1.64 grams per ton 3 to 1 ratio pd to pt.

Or North American Palladium. As PT rises, so will PD as a substitute. And NPD has hundreds of millions of tons of 2.12?? gams per ton?

The problem as I understand it is that desiel cars can only use platinum. But reg cars can be substituted.

I once asked my son in law who is a chemist, what the deal with PGMs needing to be used as catylsts was and he said other things could be used but PGM's do not clog up.

I assume that means exactly what it sounds like it means-lol.
