ME: They will just be LESS BEHIND for a while. That's what he said, whether you choose to believe it or not.

YOU: He most certainly did NOT say those words. I listened.

Here's his exact words, posted Message 22437495

"It's also to be expected that, because our design cycles don't exactly match eachother, you know, there's going to be some phenomenon where they're going to get closer and then we're going to accelerate again" [i.e., moving further away again] "and then they're going to accelerate again, and so, we're off sync."

So he revealed two possible STATES of the Intel/AMD competition. When AMD is accelerating, they are moving further away from Intel in performance; when Intel is accelerating, they are moving closer together.

Only in your hyperspace is the geometry ambiguous.

So my original statement is true: "They will just be LESS BEHIND for a while. That's what he said, whether you choose to believe it or not."
