It seems that whatever Cymer is losing is what IBM gains this morning. Cymer -5 IBM +5. IMO the drastic drop is price is related to IBM's announcement of using copper instead of aluminum. Read yourself that article. Cymer fundamentals have not changed and remain strong according to the conference call. But nobody expects that new breakthrough from IBM. The question is IBM announcement just a potential or really going to production very soon? If this is going to be the next state of the art, then the EUV consortium of INTC, AMD, MOT and the government will be doomed before it even starts. Good Luck to all. Andre
