Beware the Rightwing wedge issue of 2006. BLAME IT ON THE MEXICANS. Don't let the rightwing get away with this one. They've been in power for five years and have done almost nothing about it, until they need a distractive wedge issue tainted by racism to get out the base in 2006 when Bush and the GOP are losing the public on every single other issue on the map.

Whenever you hear a rightwing complaining about the Mexicans, remind him/her, that we have about 20 much bigger problems, and that no one has cost this economy more than the coirporate gouger buddies of Bush-Cheney-Delay. The gas gouging alone is probably up around a half trillion now. Even the biggest Mexican-haters say illegals cost us a maximum of 50 billion. Though illegals also contribute, so that should be subtracted from the 50 billion.
