Arik, Thanks for your MSFT post. Your analysis of Microsoft is correct if it follows it's current chart pattern.

Does anyone on this thread know if Paul Allen had to exercise his stock options. I believe if a Microsoft employee does not exercise his/her stock options in 10 years or some time frame they loose them. I also noticed Mr. Gates sold some stock. Also if these fellows had to exercise or loose and the options were 10 years old the split adjusted price is around $0.13. Also the tax laws force these fellows to sell this optionable stock. What I am trying to say here is until we know the truth on the sale of stock for these two fellows we are just guessing why they sold.

Thanks for your concern. I have a core holding of Microsoft and will not sell it until the reason that I bought it changes. I have been trading the stock with the recent volatility. I am net posititive but do have a lot that I bought to early.:-)

It will be interesting what happens to Microsoft in the future. I do believe in the next 12 months the stock could trade close to $150 again and could even trade around $160 simply because the some of the big houses on the street are predicting these prices. The brokers at these houses will be selling the stock to their clients based on analyst recommendations. If the stock tanks for some reason we will have to see what these analysts do with their projections.

I can not see in the future.

Joan
