Hi Ed,

I know ADM intimately. I've leased 1000's of railcars to them and have also sold software. Everyone in the midwest wants to get in their pants.

They already are the Exxon of the corn syrup world, along with Cargill, Bunge and a few other players... but it will be difficult for them to shift significant production capacity away from their core corn processing business to ethanol... existing contracts are in place with Pepsi and Coke for Fructose and High-Fructose corn syrup. Where will they get additional capacity? I'm assuming they're still running a tightly capacitized business.

Why not Cargill?

The Ethanol process is simple(like a cake recipe) - grind kernels, expose starch, mix with water, add enzymes, create sugar, add yeast to ferment then distill to separate the ethanol... actually it's like making MOONSHINE :o)
