Senator Edward Kennedy on immigration: 1965-1966: introduced the Immigration Reform Act which opened up the floodgates for illegal aliens. By 1985 over 4 million illegals were romping around the US. Kennedy introduced a bill in 1986 to fix the disaster of the bill he sponsored 20 years earlier. Reagan agreed to it and signed in amnesty for almost 2 million. It didn't work, the borders remained unprotected and... In the ensuing 20 years (according to Bear Stearns' report) an invasion of almost TWENTY MILLION illegal aliens flooded into the country. Senator Kennedy now has sponsored a THIRD bill (McCain/Kennedy bill) to "fix" what he originally broke in 1966. It has cost this country 100s of billions in healthcare, education and more. IMPEACH SENATOR KENNEDY! Kennedy has never done anything to jeopardize US security. On the contrary.
