The Minutemen have a point. Bush has ignored illegal immigration. The wall idea though won't work, but something smart needs to be done. Unfortunately most of the personnel we need are in Iraq. Hey maybe we should pay illegals as "Guest Border Patrol" to keep the others out. That would be cheap.

Minutemen totally ignore the wide open Canadian border, where Al Qaida operatives have already come across. That concerns me and makes them look like racists against Latinos.

I have been for stronger border enforcement all my life. Only in the 2006 election year do the Republicans seem to care. Because their leaders have blown it on every single issue and are about to get thrown out of power permanently.
