1966 his "Immigration Reform Act" started the whole mess.

Over the next 20 years millions of illegals had poured in thanks to his bill. Judges then started awarding community services, welfare, schools and healthcare free to illegal aliens at taxpayer expense.

1986 Kennedy tried to fix it in 1986 with another immigration bill worse than the first and got Reagan to give amnesty to 2 1/2 million illegals of the 4-5 that were already here. Reagan only agreed to sign the amnesty bill if the borders would be secured. He was assured Congress would do that. He signed it; the borders were never secured.

2006 Kennedy has the solution. With McCain he suggests, in essence, another amnesty program. During the last 20 year period, according to Bear Stearns report, 20 million illegal aliens have invaded USA. That number has increased since the marches and satellites now record an average 3,000 a day pouring across the border.

Since Kennedy greatly compromised the USA's original immigration policy all the way back in 1966 and again in 1986, upwards of 25 million people snuck into our country and have used all the social programs and medical facilities at American taxpayer's expense, thus driving up the costs for all of it across the board.
