Things can get pretty overheated sometimes. It's hard to build a place where you talk about ideas close to people's hearts, without actually hitting the person in the heart, instead of taking the idea apart. It requires care, and a desire to do the work- because it IS work to remain calm when someone comes along who doesn't respect the same things you do, and who doesn't have the same beliefs you do, and who wants to actually implement those beliefs in a political way in the country you live in. That's scary- but it's also the reality of a pluralistic society. If we all believed the same thing life would be easy, but it would also be pretty darn dull :-) Or that's what I think, maybe you disagree. <g>
