We've been on four cruises, and never have been to one of the midnight buffets or the Chocolate one.... Also, if one goes to the formal dining room dinners, you don't overeat....the portions are small and the food is excellent.

We did see young people piling their plates however....Most of them weren't heavy...but had either gone on a shore excursion, done a lot of walking, or were just trying to get their money's worth....
