... your puzzlement shouts out your wrong premise.

Gold is money, and as such, there is simply less risk to ALLOCATE MORE to it than would be the case of QCOM

When I compare my currency positions on purchase cost basis to my largest stock holdings on purchase cost basis, the ratio would be between 16 to 52 folds, and so I am being conservative when I use 16 to make the point you do not get.
