Bush is down because he's exposed as a corrupt man. A liar, a cheat, an inept twit, surrounded by political gangsters, who doesn't really care about any of us, who is leaving a huge deficit mess and costly quagmire war, getting thousands of Americans killed, ignoring the real war on terror, pandering to the Dubai Saudis, using the religious right by pretending to be a true Christian, letting big oil gouge us mercilessly, taking away our civil liberties, disrespecting 90% of the country in various ways, and deep-down being a bought and paid for pussy boy of big oil and corporate thieves. Other than that he's a great guy. Maybe his mother still loves him.
