Last comment on bookmarks - most of the newer threads (post-SI reactivation in fall 2004) have been unable to garner more than a few dozen bookmarks. That suggests that the hardcore partisan cliques enjoy staking out their own little corners of the playground and posting furiously among themselves, but the content in the threads isn't drawing a wider audience. I don't know if it is a coincidence or a pattern that more threads on the bottom lean to the right - maybe they just like to start more threads. Much like what I think is going on in the US electorate. The hardcore partisans keep on banging their drums, but fewer and fewer voters are remotely interested.
